On Saturday it snowed about 4 inches in my valley. The bulk of the snow storm landed to the south and west of us. Sunday brought sun and warmer temperatures, causing the roofs to calve. Great ice burgs of snow were suddenly released from the roof causing a minor avalanche to come careening down to earth.
